This handpicked Semillon is our first vintage The fruit was harvested in March 2005 and immediately crushed and fermented.The wine was bottled in July 2005 and aged in our cellar for a further three years prior to release.
Pale straw to lime in colour, it exhibits classic lemon, lime and dried straw aromas combined with a hint of buttered toast from the bottle maturation.
The palate is tightly structured with citrus and honeydew melon flavours with a refreshing crisp mineral finish.

This medium to full bodied wine has a deep ruby red colour with aromas of stewed plums and black currants and hints of dark chocolate, cigar boxes and ground spices.
On the palate the wine is a fresh fruit driven style having upfront tannins with undertones of cracked pepper and spice.
The wine is drinking well now and may be cellared for up to ten years.
